 General Information on WTTC Minimize

Washington Table Tennis Center opened in May of 2005 as the first and only full-time table tennis training facility in Washington State. The center is owned and operated by Yiyong Fan (Yong, in short), who is the top player in the US and a certified National coach. The Reference Links section on this page has links to some media articles, video, as well as a short biography of Yong.

The center is open to members and non-members. We are home to many top table tennis players in the state, who train and advance their skills on a regular basis. We are also known as the breeding ground for youth players who under the experienced coaching from Yong, catapult into promising competitors. We are frequented by players of all skill levels and all ages. It is not unusual to find a junior having a good match against a senior old enough to be his/her grand.

Open seven days a week, except on major holidays, we offer a variety of programs to meet the needs of all players. The Programs page provides details on Group Classes, Training Camps, Private Lessons, Open Play, and more.

Several times a year, we host USATT sanctioned tournaments with events for many player levels. Players are rewarded with wonderful prices, trophies, and most of all, the experience of competition. The Tournaments page has information on upcoming events as well as results of past tournaments.

Through his China connections, Yong organizes a few trips a year for a small group of avid table tennis players who enjoy first hand experience on how the game is played in a country best known for this highly popular sport. Sightseeing and other fun activities are also part of the itinerary. Contact Yong if you like to learn more about future trips.

To keep players informed, the News & Announcements section of our Home page outlines what is happening at WTTC. It is also setup with the RSS Feeds feature (signified by the XML icon on the bottom), so with "subscription" (no charge), news and announcements can be "fed" to your browser as they become available.

For newcomers, we have prepared a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page providing answers to most of the common questions. In addition, a Policies page outlines some of the logistics applicable to all players who visit and play at our facility - to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable time at the center.

Information on contacting us and/or driving directions can be found on the Contact & Directions page.

Perhaps the best way to experience what we have to offer is to drop by our facility, where you can ask questions in person, and if interested, watch some of the amazing plays by our players.
